Leah Downey

Leah Downey is a Junior Research Fellow at St. John’s College, University of Cambridge and the author of Our Money: Monetary Policy as if Democracy Matters (Princeton University Press, 2024). She holds a PhD in Government (Harvard University), MSc in Economics and Philosophy (LSE) and BAs in Mathematics and Economics (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill). Her research centres on democratic theory and macroeconomic policy.
